Client is looking for a creative and talented UI Designer to build up and maintain the design of our enterprise web application! The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. 

This exciting project is a buildout of a next-generation cloud storage and sharing platform to centrally store, manage, review, and distribute digital files to users worldwide. It has been running for about a year and is a tight-knit group of exceptional team players with a very flat organizational structure. DMG is dedicated to support numerous departments throughout the studio by building tools that make their business processes more efficient. We are not only motivated to build this application that is effective functionally but also is visually attractive and easy to use. As such, this Designer plays a crucial role in making this happen!

 

Furthermore, the team runs using a carefully selected and constantly evolving combination of Agile methodologies & processes.  Our design and UX process stresses rapid prototyping and is centered on real time course correction based on very tight user feedback loops. We partner closely with our target user groups, and strive to elicit and incorporate their feedback early and often. This is rooted in our strong belief that while mock-ups and wireframes are useful tools, there is really no substitute for real people using our system to accomplish their day to day responsibilities.

 

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of UI experience
  
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
  
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
  
• Create holistic designs as well as detailed mock-ups for specific features
  
• Maintain design style that is organized and consistent throughout product
  
• Strong sense of aesthetics to work collaboratively with product team and developers
  
• Present and defend design concepts to peers and executives
  
• Excellent communication skills and an engaging, outgoing personality
  

Nice to Have Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS a huge plus, in order to have closer interaction with our UI Developers
  
• Experience in responsive design
  
• Experience in Entertainment Industry, Creative Agency, or Advertising
  
• Experience in designing enterprise applications
  
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques and technologies
  
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  
• Basic knowledge of Agile software development practices
  
• Pivotal Tracker
  

Important Notes:

• On-site only, no remote work arrangements
  
• Undergraduate degree strongly preferred
