                        Systems Analyst with Web Services and SOA

 

Top Three Skills:

1. Solid knowledge of database concepts, SQL and data modeling. At least 5-7 years of hands-on experience.
2. In-depth understanding of Web Services, WSDL, SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), XML.
3. 5-7 years of experience working on system requirements (preferably data, e.g., data warehousing, BI, Integration) for large enterprise integration projects, business process modeling

Job Description: Daily functionality includes:
- Interaction with external and internal customers, project managers, application business analysts, architects, application developers, and QA testers, for full life cycle of projects.
- Documenting business requirements and translating it to system integration requirements. Creating and maintaining accurate integration data mapping.
- Documenting "as-is" and "to-be" business processes, creating business process models. The ideal candidate will have technical understanding of BPM-Business Process Modeling and BPEL-Business Process Execution Language.
- Data discovery. Analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. Data modeling using Power Designer or ERWIN modeling tools.

Not technical but extremely important "must have" – ability to work in team environment and as an individual with minimal guidance, excellent communication skills.

Additional Information: Currently this team is supporting between 7-8 projects with 12 additional projects in queue. All Allegis projects that have involve integration (translating data to integration, writing requirements for services) go through this department. This has potential to be a multi-year contract.
