Title: Senior ETL/Database Developer

Location: Irvine, CA

Duration: 6 Months

 

Responsibilities          

·         Creation and maintenance of back-end ETL jobs in Informatica PowerCenter

·         Creation and maintenance of back-end Unix/SQL scripts.

·         Provide expertise in best practices for ETL design, development and approaches for handling very large data sets.

·         Contribute to the creation and enhancement of new ETL standards and frameworks

·         Work with BSAs and the Tech Lead to understand the ETL requirements

·         Conduct unit and integration testing

·         Participate in daily stand up meetings

·         Help with database design and development

 

Skills Requirements    

•          Over 5 years of project experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, and database applications

•          6+ years of ETL development experience with Informatica Power Center/Power Mart

•          Advanced knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning concepts

•          Experience with data modeling in Oracle environment, with both data marts and data warehouses

•          Experience with UNIX shell scripting

•          Prior experience working with Agile Scrum development methodology

•          Ability to work with BSAs and business to interpret business requirements into data requirements and data model
