Role: PeopleSoft Administrator
Location: Downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
Duration: 6+ Months
The administrator will be responsible to scope, estimate, design, document, develop, and test technical solutions required to satisfy the PeopleSoft needs of the business. Administrative tasks will involve building installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining system availability. This individual will also be responsible for supporting environments and maintaining. They will be expected to work closely with the development teams to ensure the system's performance and availability.
Skills:
· Required
o 5+ years of IT work experience with 5-8 Peopelsoft administration PIA (EPM) installing, upgrading and supporting
o 5 -8 years with Oracle ERP tool version 8.x Finance and HCM modules version 8-9.x
o Deep understanding of internet architecture: web servers, application servers, software configuration and troubleshooting
o Excellent problem solving and debugging skills, experience with troubleshooting complex issues for Peoplesoft environments.
o Experience with installing, upgrading, configuration, tuning, monitoring and administration of ERP suite in Linux and windows
o Scripting skills with Shell, bash, pearl, python
o Support 24/7 production environment
o Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

o Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC)
o ability to work in a high volume, face pace environment
o PL/SQL scripting
o experience with Financial or HR industry

Location: Carmel, Indiana

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, responsible for the operation and support of pSeries/AIX platform. Perform all duties assigned by the Infrastructure Manager. Must know, practice and ensure that company policies and procedures and state and federal laws are followed at all times. Ensure that no company, employee or customer information is inappropriately divulged to unauthorized parties.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Participate in the design and implementation of new pSeries/AIX platforms. Ensure design meets requesting team's requirements. Ensure platform complies with infrastructure team standards and IT policies and procedures.
Manage the daily operation of LPARs and the pSeries platforms. Monitor resource utilization, including such items as CPU, memory, and disk utilization. Report on system utilization and plan/implement recommended maintenance as required. Perform impact analysis as appropriate.
Troubleshoot issues related to the platform. Create support tickets and work with IBM as needed.
Participate in rotating on-call duties to support production environments.
Work with other teams in the design and configuration of LPARs. Provide sizing recommendations, based on requirements.
Configure advanced PowerVM features such as Shared Memory Pools, Active Memory Expansion, and NPIV.
Utilize NIM to manage LPAR images.
Evaluate, apply, test and promote patches for the AIX operating system.
Participate in the development of patching procedure recommendations for operating systems and underlying firmware.
Work with Middleware and Database Administrators in the implementation of new applications. Identify, document and communicate impact to capacity.
Ensure process for monitoring, backup and recovery, security, and change management are established and documented.
Create and maintain documentation related to infrastructure and architecture of all systems.
Produce project related documentation and provide estimates to the Project Lead or Manager for work to be completed.
Assist in recommendations for disaster recovery.
Become familiar with IT operations and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
Participate in troubleshooting and tuning activities as needed. Research problems with available resources and coordinate problems with IBM support as appropriate.
Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance.
