The Virginia Department of Taxation is seeking contractor support personnel for the Office of Technology Division located in Richmond, VA. The contractor support position will be responsible for assisting with the analysis, design and program development

Minimum Qualifications

•             Strong application development experience

•             Working knowledge of Microsoft  Visual Studio (2010 and 2013)

•             Proficiency in Powerbuilder application development

•             Proficiency in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle stored procedures

•             Proficiency in Java application development

•             Proficiency in object oriented analysis and design techniques

•             Working knowledge of Informatica or other ETL tools

•             Working knowledge of Unix environment

•             Good verbal and written communication skills

•             Ability to independently perform systems analysis

•             Ability to design and document solutions to complex business problems

•             Ability to code and test programs according to specifications

•             Substantial relatable experience is highly preferred
