Job Title: Project Manager

Project governance and planning
Project activities, schedule and responsibilities
Communication Management
Quality Management
Risk and Issue Management
Resource Management
Scope Management
Vendor/Contract Management – ordering of vendor products/services as needed
Benefit Management
People Change Management
Enforces project management standard practices.
Assembles reports on project status, including progress and resource deployment.
Monitors all project linkages, dependencies, and enablers.
Identifies, monitors, and tracks risk.
Monitors resource utilization.
Monitors and coordinates all project related communications.
Travels as required to manage phases of projects. Can be up 50% travel (to various regions to lead implementations and interact with stakeholders), but will average 10-20% travel throughout the year.
Ensures the quality and success of the project deliverables and is accountable for managing risks and issues that come up.
Focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget and within planned scope.
Provides feedback on project learnings and best practices from projects
Develops education material on key learnings, best practice ideas and project audit feedback and teaches other PM's as part of continuous improvement process.
Leads post-project audits with EPMO staff and management.
Provide mentoring to PM I's and PM II's.
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related technical field required.
7+ years of total IT/project management experience required in a healthcare clinical environment.
Experience leading projects to implement IV therapy products (IV pumps, IV solutions, IV tubing sets and IV start kits) and improve the quality and safety of patient care using those solutions.
Experience in interfacing with various EHR systems (Cerner, Meditech, EPIC) to support the IV therapy implementations.
Experience with implementing project management best practices and frameworks such as PMI or CMM is required.
Must possess PMP certification
Managed implementations of multiple projects concurrently.
Experience in all of the project management disciplines described in the Responsibilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Project is required.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience leading project teams is required.
