Need to perform CICS transaction using Java on mainframe (COBOL) platform.  Position will start in Dallas, TX  (4-6 weeks), then Grand Rapids, MI.  Remote work is also a possibility, depends on client they are assisting. 

 

We are looking for Java cics developer

What we are looking for is an individual that has the following skill set:CICS/COBOL programmer that has significant experience with Java under CICS to modify their application.CICS system programmer/Architect skills that can guide them for the transition from tsqueues to Java messaging, 64 bit Java servers (all mainframe) and version 4.2 to 5.1 CICS recommendations.
