Need Locals - F2F Interview

 

Role: NJEIT Programmer 3 – PHP

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Princeton Pike Building 4 Suite 216, NJ

 

Short Description:

A PHP Programmer is needed to assist in the continued development of the web application that is used by the Department's Environmental Review group for Tier 2 Reviews.

 

Complete Description:

The NJEIT has a critical need for additional programmers to assist in the continued development of the web application that is used by the Department's Environmental Review group for Tier 2 Reviews. They will also be brought into the development of Phase 3 of the ERMS application which will entail EA/CEST reviews which are part of the Superstorm Sandy Recovery effort.

 

The candidate must have:

 - a strong background in Computer Science

 -  proficiency  in web technologies and languages specifically: PHP, AJAX, jQuery, MySQL.

 

The candidate must be able to development new functions and features with the existing codebase, identify and patch software bugs as well as add features to the existing codebase as needed by the DEP Environmental Review staff.

 

Required Skill::

·         Experience / Proficiency in computer programming concepts Required 4 Years

·         Experience / Proficiency in programming with the PHP Language Required 2 Years

·         Experience with MySQL Required 2 Years

·         Understanding of the MVC architecture model Required 2 Years

·         Must be able to identify problems with code and create a patch and release patched application Required 2 Years

·         Knowledge of code versioning and merging Required 1 Years

·         Experience with AJAX Desired 1 Years

·         Experience with jQuery Desired 1 Years
