Title: Java/JavaScript UI developer

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Start Date: 08/04/2014

End Date: 01/30/2015

Rate: $50/hr

 

Position Summary

The person is expected to work with visual designers, product management and senior engineers to implement and expand web application for an enterprise level solution while solving complex problem and deliver high quality web application. The work will provide opportunity to work on various user interface design paradigm and technologies. The ideal candidate should be well rounded, self-motivated, know multiple UI technologies & frameworks and enjoy fast paced development cycles.

 

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

·         Provide feedback on proposed feature and design and take the requirements to implement and deliver web application features.

·         Design, mock up and implement new application user interfaces.

·         Collaborate with project team members and cross-functional product teams to deliver feature requirements.

·         Participate in the design, conceptualization and implementation of a web application through the full product development life cycles.

·         Should be able to participate in code reviews to provide feedback with focus on best user experience, performance, scalability.

 

Qualifications (Education, Certification, Training, Experience)

·         Technical graduate or post graduate degree or equivalent in computer science is required.

·         3-5 years of relevant web programming experience including CSS, Java, Java script,  AJAX and HTML5.

·         Working experience in object oriented programming, object modelling and complex multilayer web applications.

·         Experience in GXT/GWT, Spring, object oriented JavaScript, JS libraries like Sencha Ext JS, is a plus.

·         Experience on developing web designs that work on devices and browsers is needed.

·         Proficiency in software development, programming concepts/fundamentals, development patterns.

·         Experience integrating with REST style web services.
