Job Description:
Performs complex programming, design, testing, and debugging work related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of Vendavo/SAP PMM modules (PA, PM and DM).
Personally perform the more difficult system analysis and programming work of the team.
Proficiency in Vendavo/SAP PMM programming is a critical component of the position.
MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs, develops, codes, and tests complex programs for Vendavo modules and functions using Java and Vendavo programming languages (OMI, UII, VQL, and VSL).
Creates specialized reports for Vendavo modules using VQL and SQL programming languages.
Debugs and corrects complex Vendavo module problems.
Assists in defining complex technical requirements for ongoing systems maintenance and future functionality to meet business requirements and improve system efficiency.
Provides technical support to users on matters related to complex programming of Vendavo modules.
Prepares comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation including but not limited to specifications, test conditions, test plans, and test data.
Provides technical assistance and training to lower-level programming staff.
Maintains effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners, technical and functional team members, and users.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Understand and utilize MDT-IT tools, standards, and methodologies for project management, documentation, system development, and implementation.
Represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
