Client need a person with the skills in the order of importance as given below
1. Solidworks
2. Altium
3. MS Office
4. Electronics technician experience
| Position Summary: | ||
| Sr. Engineering Technician to be responsible for performing complex laboratory tasks, as well as other general engineering assistance, in support of all Electronic Systems product development and sustaining engineering efforts. | ||
| Essential Job Functions (listing most important first): | ||
| · Test and debug electrical breadboards and prototype printed circuit boards with guidance from engineers · Rework printed circuit board assemblies per written instructions or marked up drawings · Build electrical breadboards and electro-mechanical assemblies from sketches and instructions · Create documentation for cables, or connectivity required to test peripherals · Maintain records as a subset of Device History Records for product in possession of Electronic Systems · Inspect prototype sub-assemblies as part of unit qualifications and design verification · Maintain a laboratory notebook, as well as other records, to document technical activities · Order electrical and electro-mechanical components for prototypes and as lab stock. · Use of general lab equipment scopes, meters, and power supplies · Create mechanical assemblies using tools such as drills, soldering equipment, etc) |

| Essential Job Requirements: | ||
EDUCATION | AS degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience | |
|

| |
| EXPERIENCE | 10 years minimum in an engineering laboratory 5 years minimum Product Development experience preferred | |

| REQUIRED SKILLS | · Proficiency with electronic test equipment · Excellent soldering skills (including fine pitch surface mount) · Ability to produce quality work according to sketches and instructions · Ability to maintain neat and organized work areas and records · Ability to execute engineering tests according to instructions | |

| PREFERRED SKILLS | · Ability to contribute to multiple product and scheduling objectives · Ability to work independently | |
