Position:: Sr. Hadoop Developer (IBM Data Explorer, IBM Big Insights)

Location:: Torrance, CA

Duration:: 12+ MONTHS

 

Experience required :- Overall 10+ years, 1-2 years on Data Explorer

 

Primary Skills: -

 

a.        Hadoop, IBM Data Explorer, IBM Big Insights

b.        Ability to explore complex data from HADOOP using IBM Data Explorer

c.        Design solutions independently based on high level architecture

d.        Has working experience in Hadoop solutions, IBM Big Insights

e.        Ability to  implement Hadoop based solutions

 

Secondary Skills:   -

a.        Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills

b.        Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems
