Notes from Manager: The ideal candidate would have experience leading a team of process engineers and has experience working across a broader team. Quantitative skills are not as important and Six Sigma is not required. The candidate would be very familiar with standard process documentation and would be able to coach others.
The candidate would be able to understand the business, regulations and credit environment around lending and be able to help guide others to create a new process with a great customer experience.
The candidate would also need to be able to determine the high level milestones and more detailed plans and deliverables needed to support process and communications to support the broader project.
MUST have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Job description:
Provides business process leadership including leading team in building business process future state design, business requirements, process documentation, change management plans and problem resolution. Experience in Six Sigma, Lean or other process improvement methodology. Comfortable performing and guiding SIPOC analysis, process mapping, RACI, FMEA and other process deliverables. Will include facilitation of Kaizen events, process design sessions, and business requirements gathering.
Will be responsible for leading team of process engineers. Will need to define roadmap for process and change management, provide direction, answer questions, and support issue resolution to support team.
Service experience 5+ years in financial services environment preferable
Related Experience 3+ years process improvement experience required (Six Sigma, Lean)
Capital One Experience Desired but not required
Quantitative & Analytical Skills Excellent – demonstrated experience supporting business process improvement projects
Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members). Influencing skills highly developed.
Proven ability to lead a diverse group towards resolution when faced with ambiguous situations
