Need: Build Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: 6 Months

 

Job Description:

 

Primary: 4-6 Years of Build Development Experience. C#, WCF , Perl, Java Script, VBScript

 

Secondary: C\C++.

 

Support for daily build processes, including monitoring builds, break/fix management, issue tracking, and identifying and resolving a wide variety of build-related issues for different products and versions in the Visual Studio family. Duties include working with scripts written in Perl, Java Script, VBScript, C\C++, and other languages, and may include troubleshooting complex scripting and development processes.

·         Source control integrations and merge conflict management

·         Assist in testing, implementing, and managing build processes

·         Support processes that transform code into a running product

·         Working with complex configuration management environments, generalizing tools to accommodate multiple languages and architectures, adding verification and automation, and assuring tools and processes scale to accommodate the needs of the team.

·         Cross-group collaboration with other build team members, peer teams and customers

·         Excellent customer service working with customers

·         Work flexible hours to support 24/5 build operations and possible weekend support
