Short Description:
The BA shall Develop and manage the RFP process, manage and participate in the design, development and implementation of the State Student Information System.
Complete Description:
The BA shall define state and LEA specifications and requirements and work with the system architect to ensure successful development. This position shall serve as the Subject Matter Expert on the development and implementation of the new student information system (SIS), monitor trends and development in retaining student level data.
The BA shall be involved in the development of project plans and often provide project management skills when these skills are not available in other project participants. In addition, the BA shall research, evaluate and recommend architectural framework, technology solutions and implementation strategies.
The BA shall provide a liaison function between the business side of OSSE and the providers of services to OSSE. This position will negotiate agreements to resolve differing and competing LEA needs and priorities based on needs, requirements and resources while serving as a liaison between OSSE and LEAs. The BA shall develop presentations to ensure effective communication, oversee and manage expectations.
Implementation (transition) requirements are capabilities or behaviors required to enable transition from the current state of the enterprise to the desired future state.
