This is our direct-client opening for an HR Business Analyst located in Concord, NH. This is a 2+ year project and our client is looking to hire ASAP.
Our client is currently developing an HRIS with Human Resources, Time and Attendance, and Payroll as the primary components. They are seeking a business analyst with experience re-engineering these types of processes to lead the analysis and design of a system that will create efficiencies and eliminate waste. Candidates should have experience as the facilitator of LEAN initiatives, or another widely used, industry standard, re-engineering methodology. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: leading business process reengineering efforts of all HR, Time and Attendance, and Payroll processes; meeting with stakeholders and business users and facilitating meetings to gather data and draft detailed business requirements; designing the system to meet the needs of the stakeholders and their business users; actively interacting with developers in their coding efforts; designing and executing test plans to verify the system functions as expected; leading documentation and training efforts. Experience with ERP (in particular, Lawson) is a plus as is someone familiar with a Microsoft .Net environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather business requirements, analyze business processes and provide options using best practices
Participate in the development of HRIS Vision, Strategy and Roadmap
Collaborate with business process owners in HR, Payroll, Accounting, etc. for continuous improvement and alignment
Manage documents including business requirements, business process flows, functional and specifications, Technical design, configuration workbooks, etc.
Manage mid-size projects while engaging key stakeholders, managing scope, issues, risks, etc.
Act as the HRIS technical lead/architect to ensure that HRIS ecosystem and integrations conform to Best practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors in IT, Computers, Engineering or HR or related
Excellent verbal and written skills to communicate with technical, functional experts and end-users
Lean and/or Six Sigma or other Business Process Management certification preferred; PMP and/or Agile certification will be a Plus
Functional experience in multiple HR and Payroll functional areas such as core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Performance, Time and Attendance, etc.
Strong business analysis skills including requirements, design, process re-engineering, data analysis and reporting, Testing/QA, etc.
