Explanation for Position:

 

The position will be responsible for supporting the DNS/DHCP/NTP global infrastructure.
 
Details of Position:

 

·         24/7/365 rotational support of a Linux based global infrastructure for IP addresses, Domain Name Resolution, Network Time Protocol, Port Forwarding, DNS failover utility, and associated request fulfilment.

·         Advanced Linux/Unix operating system administration skills with concentration in scripting and Java is required.

·         Person should have above average troubleshooting skills as 80% of job is Linux based infrastructure.

·         Candidate must be process oriented, innovative thinker, problem solver and multitasks well. In-depth technical knowledge of other platforms helpful.

Management Skills:

·        
Knowledgeable of vendor processes, product and support offerings.

·         Management skills required include excellent communication skills both oral and written, detail orientated and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
