Role: Java - JBoss Administrator

Location: Madison WI

Duration:6+ months

JBoss Application Server (JBoss EAP) for both internally-facing and externally-facing Java applications.  The application portfolio includes both purchased 

applications and applications that were developed at American Family.  The environment is large and growing.  You will work with a team of experienced and 

talented JBoss administrators.  There will be opportunities to mentor and be mentored.  This is a fast-paced and exciting environment to work in.

Required Skills:

• Java and Javascript application development

• Ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues

• Familiarity with diagnostic tools used to troubleshoot issues with Java applications

Desired Skills:

• Monitoring – familiarity with tools to monitor Java Application Servers

• Familiarity with Linux and BASH scripting

• Familiarity with supporting JBoss EAP

Soft Skills:

• Good communication skills 

• Good organization skills

• Self-starter with good work ethic
