Job Description:
Our client is deploying a nationwide WiFi network. There are 3 divisions and 14 regions. Within each region and division the PM will need to work with each functional team and the corporate leadership. There are also vendors and other WiFi experts who will be part of the project that our PMs will need to collaborate with and manage. This role will require strong project management skills and experience. Strong organization, communication and inter-personal skills will be required.
Other duties:
• Drive activity, track/maintain status, track/identify risks, and be able to work with the cross functional teams and business owners
• Communicate all aspects of the project(s) consistently to all impacted teams and the business owners in regular intervals (weekly or more often if warranted).
• Act as the interface between the regional teams, the business owners and the corporate teams.
• Must be able to understand the requested solution enough to offer guidance to the regional teams in terms of priorities and/or interpretation. Present options to the business users for decision when needed.
• Ability to effectively run meetings, capture notes, and track action items to completion.
• Cable, high speed data, voice, and/or wireless experience requested.
• Must be proficient in all MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
