Position: Program Manager - WMS
Location: Springfield,MO
Duration: 12+ Months
Description:
Program Manager - Warehouse Management Software is in search of an experience Program Manager for a long term engagement with one of our Retail clients with over 65 stores nationally and over $4 Billion in revenue.
This Program Manager will lead an WMS implementation for a very large enterprise initiative.
This candidate will have:
• 3 to 5 years relevant project management experience implementing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); such as, HighJump Software, RedPrairie (JDA), Manhattan Associates, SAP- WM, Oracle-WM, etc.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical design documents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Expertise in supply chain management, warehousing, and distribution.
• Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
• Experience in people and change management.
• Strong Project Management Skills
• Experience with WMS implementations.
• Task mgmt
- Work with service providers regarding application enhancements, customization, and new releases
- Functional Specification Documentation preparation
- Develop User Acceptance Test plans and coordinate UAT testing
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Project resource allocation within team
- Manage project budgets
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Participate in the definition of project scope, business requirements documents, goals, and deliverables
- Serve as liaison between DC Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and vendors
- Develop documented implementation plan and report on project progress
