Notes from the meeting with the manager:
· He is looking for someone with prior experience with Electronic Funds Transfers or working with provider payments.
· They are an agile shop so this person will participate in scrum meetings then work user stories, write code, and conduct unit testing.
· There are about 17 people on staff and 7 developers.
· They work mostly with batch jobs hence the need for Datastage WTX.
· Mostly they are rewriting or enhancing applications.
· They do work with outside clients so there is a commercialization of their work.
· He thinks a solid candidate will need only about a week of learning before he can let them loose and not worry about managing them.
Sr Consultant Application Developer.
1. Prior experience with EFT (electronic funds transfer) required
2. Batch development using:
· Datastage WTX and PX
· Unix shell scripting
· DB2
· SQL
· Job scheduling
Information about the job (as written):
· Position is for financial projects - primarily EFT payments. Prior financail/banking experience a plus.
· Candidate must be able to hit the ground running and work without supervision.
· Development methodology is Agile.
· Candidate will also be asked to coach Jr. Developers which might be located offshore or onshore.
· Nice to have skills include Java and UI portal expeprience.
