Position: BI QA Manager
Location: Torrance, CA
Duration: 12+ Months
Required:-
8-9 years of Testing experience in data warehouse projects across Informatica and reporting platforms.
Banking Finance domain experience will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
Manage the QA team across multiple projects
Facilitate business interactions with the client to understand the business and downstream requirements
Estimations, Project Scheduling and Planning
WBS and activities tracking to closure
Scope Analysis and Change Management
SoW and Amendments co-ordination with the client management
Determine the automation ideas from existing QA and leverage to Value-adds to the client.
Should have experience in HP QC
Must have good understanding of QA lifecycle
Must have understanding of ETL, data modelling and reporting tools
Knowledge in DB Performance Tuning is an added advantage
Must have experience in handling complex data migrations projects
Must have handled at least 3 major DW projects in his/her earlier assignments
Root Cause Analysis and right-first time solution for any critical issues
Should be Pro-active in Risk Identification and provide timely mitigation plans
Experience in handling issues in various testing environments including UAT, Production
