This is our direct-client opening for a Web & Mobile Applications Developer located in St. Louis, MO (LOCAL ONLY). This is a 3+ month contract.
Responsibilities include:
Develop new functionality for existing applications, write new applications as directed and maintain existing code for mature applications
Participate in discussions to review and revise company operating procedure to ensure all development is accomplished in accordance with such guidelines
Assist in the documentation of all new and existing code
Depending on assigned work group, participate in weekly on-call rotation
Review of existing applications with senior developer or manager and recommend methods to improve efficiency and functionality
Perform all programming and development functions with care, skill and diligence in a manner consistent with, or above the current professional standards of the computer services industry
Unit testing on all development code and facilitate product delivery
Mentor, train and develop junior developers
Quality of work products delivered
Qualifications include:
BS in Computer Science and minimum 8-10 year experiences with software development required
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and must be able to work in a team environment
4+ years of related experience programming in relational database including at least 6 years of MS SQL development
3+ years of experience developing iOS applications and experience publishing applications in Apple's App Store
2+ years experience in application development or management of software projects, including successful launch of web and mobile products
Familiar with the full lifecycle of software development, familiarity/experience in iterative development environments preferred
Client-side technologies, including AJAX, Infragistics, JQuery, Javascript, HTML5/CSS3
iOS Platform Experience is required: iPhone and iPad development, Objective-C, JQuery, Ajax, and working with local storage required
Expect additional expertise with Microsoft development tools, and must have significant, recent experience with C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, Ajax, Infragistics (a plus), and SQL development
Knowledge of Source Control systems
