Title                 : Sr. Java developer with Securities/Fixed income/financials market

Location          : Stamford, CT & Jersey City, NJ

Duration         : 6+ Months

Rate                : Market

 

Technical Skills & Knowledge:  

 

Primary Skills: j2EE, JSP, HTML, JDBC, PERL, Oracle, Unix, shell scripts, Autosys, MQ-Series, Tibco EMS, Subversion, Sybase, Apache tomcat, Securities, Trade confirmations

Responsibilities:

• Strong candidate with at least 10 years of industry experience preferably supporting the back office applications
• Prior experience working with DTC Omgeo, Exchanges highly desirable
• Prior experience in software upgrades and impact analysis
• Gather requirements from business users and maintain product backlog
• Communicate priority of work for offshore team
• Technically capable to troubleshoot any application issues escalated by Production Services to L3 team
• Review code and work performed by offshore team
• Perform any onshore only testing against unmasked client data
• Serve as primary contact for Production Services for any releases
• Primary contact to other onshore teams
• Understand the QA requirements and the various types of testing
• Able to perform regression, facilitate user acceptance test
