Technical Skills & Knowledge:
Primary Skills: Cognos 8.4/10 Framework Manager Modeling , Cognos, Teradata, Cognos Technical Developer
Responsibilities:
• 5 + years Development experience in Cognos Report Studio, Query Studio, Event Studio, Scheduling reports, creating drill through reports, bursting, etc.
• 3-5 years of experience with Cognos 8.4/10 Framework Manager Modeling
• 3 -5 Experience working with Transformer model to work with multidimensional power play cubes
• Functional Testing of Cognos Reports and Cubes
• Good knowledge in trouble shooting and problem solving skills
• Experience with dimensional modeling including facts and dimensions, star and snowflake schemas, and OLAP tools and techniques
• Experience in designing scorecards and dashboards
• preferred - Cognos 8.4/10 Administration experience such as Package migration, Routing rules, security, installation and configuration of Cognos services
• Experience with Oracle 10/11g or SQL server
• Experience with Teradata
• Mentor junior members in the team
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience in conducting requirements gathering sessions and brainstorming workshops
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and curious about learning the business
