Position: Senior Java Developer w/ MySQL Experience
Location: Boston, MA
Term: 12-18+ Month Contract
Our client is in need of hiring a Senior Java Developer with MySQL experience. The consultant will ideally have skills in the rest of LAMP stack as well (not required, but desired). The right consultant for this contract will have full stack development skills. This is an existing client-only web portal that serves up research information to its clients. Our client has process, but is not straight-jacketed like most financial firms * they need someone who can think on their feet, take only the smart risks, and integrate well in a highly multi-cultural office environment.
About the position:
* This is a an existing key application for our client's current business, while they focus on re-engineering for the future (Java and MySQL skill are most important)
* The position is in the Financial district in a professional environment
* 5+ years of Java Development experience is required
* 2+ years of MySQL experience is required
Nice to have skills:
* Candidates should be at least familiar with the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
