Role: Oracle E- Business Suit Application Engineer

Location: Sacramento, CA

Duration: Fulltime

Positions: 2

 

We could really use some help finding this Oracle Developer.  This is in our Corporate Systems area so the person would be supporting Oracle  applications users in HR, Finance and Procurement.  They should have experience in at least 2 of those. We do not use the Manufacturing supply chain modules. They need to have very good communication skills because they do interact with the internal users quite a bit. We expect to do the R12 upgrade next year. This is not just maintenance; we do a lot of enhancements and some customization.  

 

We assume that the candidate would have all the usual e-Business Suite strengths that our other candidates to date have had. We have interviewed strong candidates who had everything we wanted but the following:

 

The skill set we are seeking goes by some different acronyms and names: OADF (Oracle Application Development Framework), or just ADF; OAF (Oracle Applications Framework).

 

We want a "framework expert" – anyone who is that would immediately understand the phrase.

 

Very strong Java and JSP skills are assumed.

 

The development platform is called JDeveloper; it would not be possible to be a "framework expert" without also being an expert in JDeveloper.

 

Specific expertise includes framework extensions, new framework development, framework personalizations (including bulk export, import), and custom business flows (workflows).
