Java Team Lead Java/J2EE developers responsible for leading the development
team with component design, development, unit testing, and integration
testing of web based applications, and working extensively with
Requirements:
. 7+ years of experience in application development using Java/J2EE
. Prior experience and ability to work with client teams to develop
and implement business requirements, test plans, and adhere to Software
Development Lifecycle is required
. Perform and oversee tasks related to full software development
life-cycle. This includes planning, analyzing requirement, designing
solution, developing code using Java technologies and testing the software.
. Development skills must include expert knowledge and experience in
JAVA 1.5, EJB, JSP, Servlets, AJAX, Java Scripts, XML, Web services, Spring,
Hibernate, Struts Framework, SQL.
. Should be able to design and architect a solution in this
technology area for a given problem statement and should be conversant with
decision making in terms of technology comparison with J2EE technologies
. Should be able to understand customer business requirements and
propose optimal solutions around J2EE technologies focusing on
simplifications, virtualization, aggregation and automation.
. Experience leading teams in code quality, standards and best
practices
. Provide mentoring and guidance to the team concerning how to
maintain quality in solutions.
. Experience with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies
is a plus
. Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to
communicate effectively with customers.
PREFERRED INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE:
. Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D,
Commercial/Private Insurance Programs
. Healthcare reform and health insurance exchanges
. Key health plan processes including Network Management, Operations
Management, Medical Management, Sales/Marketing, Enrollment, Membership
Accounting, Revenue Reconciliations, Claims Adjudication
REPRESENTATIVE ORGANIZATIONS:
. Leading Health Insurance companies (Payers) such as UnitedHealth
Group, Aetna, Humana, WellPoint, Cigna, HCSC, Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans,
etc.
