Position : .Net Developer
Location: Carrollton, TX
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Max Rate : $45/hr
Description:
Work with senior team members to develop application functionality based on the supplied specifications using the team's common development framework. Work with the team's architect and analysts to ensure that the functional specifications they produce are clear and can be accurately coded to. Provide feedback to senior team members regarding improvements which can be made to the common development framework.
Responsibilities for this Position Include:
Ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities
Experienced in problem solving, and able to follow a methodical implementation process.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Comfortable working in a team environment
Willing to hear and adjust to feedback
Comfortable working in a team environment
Ability to assist/mentor junior team members
Solid understanding of design patterns and object-oriented design practices
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to perform code review of other colleagues work.
Ability to extend the modular framework upon which the application's functionality will be built
Ability to own, document and communicate the design of the framework
Ability to write quality, stable, scalable, and maintainable code
Ability to provide instruction, guidance and mentoring to junior team members concerning the implementation of the framework within their code
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Requirements
Solid understanding of UML and other process modeling techniques
Clear understanding of an Agile development methodology
Experience using SSRS and/or SSIS
Experience using WCF
4-7 years of experience developing in C#
3-4 years of experience developing software solutions using .Net (3.5 or later)
4-7 years of experience working with T-SQL (including the development of stored procedures, views and triggers)
3-4 years of experience designing/developing transactional processing relational database management systems
3-4 year of experience working with technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS and XML
Experience designing, developing and maintaining an application framework
