Position : Sybase Developer – CONTRACT
Location: White Plains, NY
Duration : 6+ Months
Description:
· We are looking for a Sybase developer with 5 year's experience in Sybase development.
· Experience with UNIX scripting, especially PERL.
· Candidates must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
NOTE: The candidate with financial background will be preferred.
Position : Sr. BA with 10+ Years
Location: New York
Duration: 6 months
Required Skills
· Key requirement is strong understanding and experience working on OTC Derivatives
· Preferred experience in any of the Dodd-Frank initiative
· Preferred experience in Dodd Frank - Chapter 7
· 7-10 years of relevant work experience
· Background in large scale development projects
· Experience/understanding of business process re-engineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
· Experience working closely with IT Project managers and development teams
· Experience setting up test scenarios
· Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing business and functional specifications
· Must possess good communication skills with the ability to be assertive
· Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure
Role
· Serve as liaison between IT, Operations and business end-users
· Identify, assess, and document Business requirements and functional requirement
· Work with the development teams to ensure that they understand the specifications
· Develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to IT team, and contribute a business or process perspective during design reviews
· Analyze impact of proposed solution across the business and advise business on options, risks, and costs
· Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation.
· Provide relevant test scenarios for the testing team
· Work with test team to develop system integration test scripts and ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations
