Qualifications:
- Ability to transform business requirements into technical specifications (Source to Target Mapping, Technical Design Documents)
- Design and develop complex transformations using Informatica power center (v 7.1 and above)
- Strong experience with Power Exchange (5.1 and above)
- Good understanding of ETL/Database best practices and industry standards
- Knowledge of SQL and stored procedures
- Strong experience in Oracle and Unix
- Good documentation practices and ability to create and execute unit test cases
- strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and relational databases
Data Warehouse Architect
Lansing, MI
1 year +contract
Rate 72/hr C2C
Must be Senior level and have all the skills listed.
TASKS:
· The Data Warehouse Architect designs total solutions involving multiple systems for large organizations. Solutions may use third party hardware and software. Participates/leads in the construction of models and pilot programs with senior level managers.
· Conducts model and pilot programs to test proposals or develop solutions to problems. Develops measurement criteria to evaluate programs and projects and develops or reviews estimates on technical aspects of projects.
· Responsible for data warehouse database design and providing technical direction to modelers, data analysts, ETL developers, and database administrators.
· Develops design proposals to meet DHS needs
· Approves integrated systems design proposals for technical content.
· Monitors the implementation for technical correctness so that DHS needs are met.
· Identifies, analyzes and evaluates alternative design solutions.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS FOR THE POSITION:
· 8 Years Data Warehouse Architect experience
· 8 Years Data Warehouse Modeler experience
· 6 Years Data Warehouse Developer experience
· 6 Years Teradata utilities experience
· 6 Years of Erwin experience
· Excellent written and oral communications skills
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS WILL BE BENEFICAL FOR THE POSITION:
· 3 Years SQL Assistant experience
· Unix Shell Scripting experience
· Teradata Version 13 experience
· DW DBA experience with SQL performance tuning
· Mentoring co-workers
· Excellent analytical thinking & problem solvingSAP Business Analyst

- We are looking for a non-traditional BA. Must have requirement gathering, but also contain the following:
o Extensive Business Process Mapping and Analysis
o Deep Automotive Industry Experience
o SAP and other ERP Software
