Ø Cisco Certifications, CISSP Ø 5+ years of IPs/IDS engineering or administration. Ø 5 + years of Firewall, Router, Network administration or engineering. Ø 5 + years of Information Security experience. Ø Experience with McAfee suite.
Day to day activities
Ø Creating Network Diagrams Ø Creating test plans, test cases, UAT, contingency plans, back-out plans, etc. Ø Conduct testing of the Firewall, IPS/IDS policies. Ø Participate in the day to day activities around designing, setup, and implementation of security appliances and provide feedback on improving/enhancing it. Ø Participate in day to day activities as per the direction of the manager. Ø Complete ad-hoc tasks and activities requested by the manager to support the projects.
Ø Why does this need exist Are you currently working with any outside recruiting agencies through the MSP on this need The need exists to support the work under the Increased Security Monitoring project
Ø What applications/systems will the contractor work on McAfee IPS, Palo Alto Firewall, Visio, etc.
Ø Must have's skills Listed under bullet 7
Ø Certification: Cisco Certifications, CISSP
Ø Years of relevant experience 5+
Ø What is the ideal background or company you would like to see candidates from 5+ years of IPs/IDS engineering or administration. 5 + years of Firewall, Router, Network administration or engineering. 5 + years of Information Security experience. 3+ years of experience writing IPS/IDS policies. 3+ years of experience setting up and/or redesign of network and DMZ. Setup the Palo Alto Firewall, IPS, AV, policies Experience with McAfee suite.
Ø What non-technical skills are you looking for i.e. communication, writing, presentation Excellent documentation and Communication Skills Experience with sketching out network diagrams using Visio or other tools
Ø What location are they going to be sitting in Reston, VA
Ø What is the expected duration of the contract 6-18 months+ |
