JOB DESCRIPTION – MOBILE DEVELOPER
Essential skills
Atleast one mobile platform experience from design to store to updates-
iOS
• 2+ Years Strong OO design and programming skills in Objective-C
• Familiar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location)
• Familiar with xcode
• Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Android
• 3+ Strong OO design and programming skills in Java/J2EE
• Familiar with the Android SDK
• Experience of development in web technologies using RAD, Eclipse
• Knowledge of server side technologies (Struts, Spring )
Common
Experience with web-services, e-commerce,
Knowledge of Relational Database like Oracle, SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system
Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
Good understanding of OO programming and design patterns
Good understanding of HTML5, CSS (2/3), JavaScript, jQuery / jQueryMobile, Ajax
Responsive Design -- know how to use media queries, grids
Experience building web and native apps using version control (e.g. Perforce, SVN)
Strong mobile UX design, coding and support/maintenance, collaboration and communication skills
Excellent debugging and optimisation skills
Flexible to work in a dynamic environment
