Location : NYC, NY & Carollton, TX
Duration : 12+ Months Contract
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
•7+ years' experience in software development projects.
•7+ years in Java/JEE (1.4,1.5/1.6)
•5+ years' Experience in designing applications using design patterns, object oriented methodology (RUP and Rational Rose/XDE) creating use cases, class diagrams, interaction, sequence diagrams and recognizing design patterns.
•5+ Years JSP, Servlet, HTML, XHTML, JavaScript & CSS
•3+ years in Spring, Spring Web flow, DOJO, JSON, JQuery, JPA, AJAX, Hibernate
•2+ years in Apache Shiro, JSF 2 (Mojarra and Myfaces with Tomahawk)
•5 + experience in Struts, Tiles, EJB, JSTL, Web service , JAXB, XML (DTD, XSL), Xalan-J, log4j and Velocity with Web 2.0
•5+ years' experience in Oracle; Writing complicated logic using SQL, PL/SQL and familiarity with data modeling (ER and dimensional).
•3+ Years Web Sphere Application Server (version 7.x and 8.x)
•5+ years of experience in UNIX.
•Experience in Agile development methodology preferred
•Experience in moving code from lower sandboxes to production environment and address issues related to functionality, integration, etc

-5-7 years of IT work experience (financial industry preferred but will consider a strong candidate from other industries)
-Should be ready to participate in a team development and support of various components of large-scale applications
-Strong demonstrated knowledge of core Java(preferred but will consider C++) and Oracle
-Familiarity with distributed computing infrastructures, UNIX Shell programming, Perl, XML, finance, risk management, derivatives, and/or other financial instruments a plus
**strong core java, oracle, perl, and xml experience.
