Role: SAP Functional Consultant (Logistics Execution)
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 6+ months
Experience : 4-5 years
Technology Skills: SAP ECC 6.0, SAP LES, SAP SD
Experience and Hands-on Expertise needed around configuring following functionalities within standard SAP:
§
§ Stock transport Orders
§ Create Delivery/shipment
§ Post Goods issue
§ SAP Integration with third party shipping software(DSI)
§ Batch directed Picking/Packing
§ Transportation (knowledge of LES – Transportation functionalities a must) – Loading of trucks using FIFO etc. based on product shelf-life, shipment consolidation, shipping manifest etc.
§ Cross Docking at public warehouses and also at factory for direct shipments
§ Extended Warehouse management within ERP
§ Track & Trace Inventory
§ Label printing
Skill-set expected for the role:
§ Over 5+ years of experience as a SAP LE consultant
§ Experience in implementing transportation/warehouse functionalities using SAP LE in ECC 6.0
§ Domain Expertise in CPG industry - Food & Beverages or Pharma industry
§ Experience in migration from non-SAP environment (JDE) to SAP ECC 6.0 is preferred
§ Knowledge of IDOCS/EDI
§ Prior consulting experience – starting from requirement gathering, conducting business workshops, managing conflicts in requirements, designing solutions leveraging past experiences, coming up with alternative solution designs, presenting the solution design to project stakeholders, documentation of business requirements, building process flow diagrams etc.
§ Ability to configure the functionalities listed above
§ Ability to build test cases and drive integration/user acceptance testing for this functional area
§ Provide inputs for the cut-over plan
§ Work with the development team for identification of FRICE list, provide clarifications on functional specifications, support during unit testing phase, etc.
