Job Title: Java / Flex Developer
Location : Washington, DC
Duration : 6+ month Skill Set Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline.
8 + years of experience working with J2EE/Java.
3+ years of experience in Adobe Flex/LiveCycle DS development.
solid knowledge and hands-on experience of application performance issues and improvement techniques.

Proactively monitor the adherence of the implementation to the chosen architecture in all development iterations.
Assess and evaluate new emerging products.
Responsible for recommending technical solutions to the business stakeholders and IT senior management in aligning technologies to support World Bank business planning.
Responsible for recruiting and managing team of resources in implementing the project.
Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members/peers.
Responsible for providing technical strategic presentation to executives and managers.
Responsible for transferring system knowledge to end users at all levels.
