DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT

 

 

Position: System Analyst

Duration : Long term Contract

Location :Richmond CA

 

Skills

 

1. Conduct collaborative planning activities with EHLB to define and develop the implementation plan

to install and configure upgrade to STARLiMS V10.8

1.1. Identify LIMS work flow elements that require advanced configuration changes

1.2. Establish the availability of required configuration changes in the STARLiMS upgrade

1.3. Determine constraints of LIMS work flow changes within core application configuration

1.4. Ascertain the need to modify or enhance existing work flow through application programing

1.5. Consult with EHLB LIMS Committee to establish the scope of the overall migration implementation work

Plan

 

2. Develop implementation plan for migration of workflows to new LIMS version upgrade which

accommodates laboratory sample processing requirements.

2.1. Identify detailed configuration and programing requirements for upgrade

2.2. Account for specific LIMS workflow application elements to be enhanced and / or developed

2.3. Create the requirements document for the upgrade migration for review by LIMS Committee

2.4. In consultation with the LIMS Committee, finalize the upgrade migration plan including prioritizing tasks,

periodic progress review, provisions for user testing, and resolution of workflow issues.

 

3. Conduct implementation of the new LIMS version upgrade utilizing the detailed migration plan

3.1. Conduct required advanced configuration changes and programming for workflow modifications

3.2. Establish user testing cycle and protocol for reporting usability issues and retesting of fixes.

3.3. Test changes for core system functionality, system errors, and data quality assurance.

3.4. Document programming changes related to production issues, change request implementation, and system

modifications.

3.5. Modify electronic laboratory results reporting to satisfy requirements of clients
