Job Description:
· The SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant will be responsible for configuration and development of MDG-based master data scenarios within an existing MDG system landscape.
· The primary role of the consultant is to plan and complete implementation while also being expected to provide MDG architecture and design expertise pertaining to the scope and requirements of the project.
· Specific responsibilities will include: translation of business requirements to technical tasks, process and workflow design, system configuration, data migration, assistance with testing, technical documentation, and handover of the live solution to Support/Run teams.
Must-have Competencies:
· Expert knowledge in activation and configuration of the SAP MDG modules and components
· Expertise in Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, and configuration of Data Replication
· Expertise developing within the SAP ECC environment and SAP application using (ABAP)
· Ability to identify, troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve Data related problems
· Responsible for making solution recommendations considering project requirements
· Experience working in an Agile Development environment; SCRUM methodology preferred
· Strong conceptual design and analytics capabilities with an ability to balance theory and practicality
· Strong problem-solving capabilities within a complex IT landscape
· Responsible for design, development and implementation of SAP MDG custom objects
Nice to have Competencies:
· Experience with key mapping aspects of Master Data Governance as the central Master Data Hub
· Strength in ABAP, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, ALE, IDOC, Workflow, WebDynpro ABAP, SOA web services
· Knowledge in customizing the SAP Business Partner, Customer, and Supplier/Vendor Masters
· Working experience integrating/deploying Fiori applications as user front-end to MDG
· Expertise in integrating SAP Data Services and enterprise applications/services MDG
· Expertise in MDG Master Data Consolidation and handling of Mass Data change scenarios
· Exposure to SAP HANA
Education and Qualification:
· Fluency in English; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to handle one or more projects simultaneously
· Ability to quickly learn new skills and be responsive to change
· Undergraduate university degree, preferably in IT, Computer Sciences, and/or Business Administration
· Certification in SAP MDG and/or SAP EIM solutions preferred
· Technical skills in ABAP, ABAP OOPS, ABAP Web Dynpro, SAP FPM, IDOC, CRM WEB UI, NWBC, and Enterprise Portal, Data Dictionary
