Our client is looking for a strong backend developer to join their team and help with a large Wellness Discounts web portal. The goal of the team is to create the new web portal where members can get discounts on certain items related to their current health and policy. These developers will be responsible for all of the new development for this web portal and specifically will be supporting the Consumer Digital Experience. They will be rewriting the java services that currently access the existing database and integrate them with the new framework. Some of the top daily responsibilities include: developing SOAP and REST java services using Java/J2EE, CXF, Jersey, Jersey2, Spring, RestEasy, XML, JSON; using annotation based coding and expertise in configuration of XML files for the above services; and finally work on calling these services from JavaScript. They will also use Git/SVN to configure and build projects using Maven, deployment on JBOSS, Tomcat and other Enterprise! Servers.
They will be working on a IT delivery team with 14 other developers.
