Description:
The global operations group provides technical leadership to global operations staff across all data center facilities. This role will require to engage with the global operations staff and gather, analyze data, identify anomalies and impact to business, recommend process improvements and drive solutions to maintain data integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Support the global Ops Data team to resolve day-to-day operational data issues.
- Understand business requirements and propose data solutions.
- Ability to create and manage Excel macros based on the business requirements.
- Ability to integrate information from multiple data sources.
- Perform data impact analysis and drive consistent data solutions as needed.
- Ability to understand various technologies, analytic tools to troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day data issues.
- Communicate technical information clearly to audience.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend future state business process to maintain data integrity.
Qualifications/Required Skills:
- 3+ years of Data Analyst experience.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience in technical support, business analysis, data analytics or statistical analysis.
- Expert in Excel (including VBA/Macros) and Access.
- Knowledge and ability to understand SQL queries.
- Knowledge of Telecommunications and Internet technologies and systems.
- Strong analytical skills to work with large amounts of data, perform number crunching and analyze to find solutions.
- Strong Communication skills to present findings and translate data issues to an understandable document.
- Critical thinking to analyze numbers, trends and to come up with solutions.
- Reliability, diligence, and excellent organization skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
