Job Description:

 

v  Abinitio Onsite Technology Lead will be responsible for developing and managing multiple Abinitio projects.

v  This is an onsite lead position that will also require gathering business requirements from clients and working with offshore to get the work/project completed

v  Consult with the business to determine logical design for new business solutions

v  Perform code reviews, analyze execution plans, and re-factor inefficient code

v  Follow data standards, resolve data issues, complete unit testing and system documentation for ETL processes

v  Collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, and other team members to determine data extraction and transformation requirements

v  Collaborate with IT operations and testing organizations to ensure timely releases of projects

v  Collaborate with IT operations to perform root cause analysis

v  Support the development of software programs with help of offshore team.

v  Use customer requirements to improve functionality (speed, performance / usability).

v  Respond quickly to bug fixes and enhancement requests.

v  Be able to take directions and complete tasks on-time with minimal supervision.

v  Participate in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned.

v  Work in a team environment

v  Work on multiple assignments concurrently under aggressive deadlines

v  Attending Status meetings

v  Test plan/Test results review with required stakeholders & Business and getting signoff / approvals.

v  Setting up meetings - design / code review with client and Offshore

v  Providing status update to PM and project stakeholders

Skills Required

•   8+ years IT industry experience
•   6+ years expertise in UNIX in a must
•   6+ years' experience with Abinitio
•   5+ years expertise in SQL programming
•   Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to interact with multiple IT teams and business partners both formally and informally
•   Data warehouse / Data mart development experience will be added advantage
