Must have SAS Drug Development exp.

 

Description:   The Senior Statistical Programmer II will support the cClinical Development teams by: Creating / Updating / Supporting / Validating Standard Reporting Macros for Standard tables, listings and figures.
Support the Shire Statistical Reporting environment (SAS Drug Development). Participating in project to install and validate SAS Drug Development 4.6.
Develop and maintain custom statistical applications. Support R and statistical applications.

Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies Excellent analytical, technical, and computer skills Expert programming ability using BASE/SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS MACROS, and SAS/GRAPH. Expert knowledge of CDISC requirements. Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, clinical trial methodologies, and FDA/ICH regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication. Excellent inter-personal skills. Education: Degree and experience in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative analytical field. At least eight (8) years of industry related (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, CRO) statistical programming experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent. At least six (6) years of industry related experience with a master's degree or above. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a technical leadership role within a statistical programming organization, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO
