Sr. IBM Mainframe Developer with z/OS

Location: Austin, TX

Rate: $50/hr

Duration: 4 months

 

Job Description:

Responsible for research, evaluation, planning, testing, and Performance mgmt.

In support of the company Mainframe Plans, forecasts, monitors, and tunes the capacity and performance of MF hardware, OS, subsystems (DB2, CICS, etc.) along with IBM and third party applications (BMC, HOD, FDR etc..).

Will be responsible for z/OS and application patching and upgrades. Will participate in and at times lead projects to implement new or upgrade existing technology solutions.

 

Mandatory Requirements:

8 years of IBM Z System Support Experience, IBM and Third Party installation Experience, IBM z/OS, IBM Mainframe JCL, SMP/E, COBOL

2 years of IBM z/OS 1.13

RACF, TWS,CICS

 

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year of TCP/IP, VTAM, DB2, Host On Demand, BMC Mainview, Total Object Manager
