Location       :   Seattle WA (Local & F2F)

Duration       :  12 months contract

Rate              :   $55/hr

Interview      :    1^st telephonic & final round F2F

Required qualifications: 

* A minimum of 5 years designing and developing in large scale, production quality code in a professional software developer role 

* Experience with Back End application programming: Java / J2EE, Web MVC Frameworks

* Self-starter and quick learner who possesses exceptional attitude and aptitude 

* Significant experience with client side technologies such as Java, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX

* Strong knowledge of Web Services: WebSphere, J2EE, SOAP 

* Strong problem solving skills to efficiently implement projects with difficult requirements 

* Experience designing and optimizing code for robustness, scalability and performance. 

* Experience developing customer facing web applications 

* Ability to clearly document and communicate software architecture and design 

* Ability to consume specifications, give feedback, provide estimates and translate into implementation 

* Ability to work collaboratively with team members 

* Knowledge of various Java related technologies and frameworks such as Tapestry and Spring

* Strong software design skills and experience with proven design and architecture patterns

* Make a clear impact by leveraging your strong background in Java programming.

 

Preferred, but not required: 

* Knowledge of various JavaScript libraries (Handlebar/Mustache, LESS, Backbone JS, Require JS) 

* Experience with Tomcat and/or Spring frameworks 

* Knowledge of analytics tools used for optimizing web sites 

* Good knowledge of XML, XSD and API development 

* Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL 

* BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
