2. Experience in a Lead or Architect capacity- this person will be leading a team of 4-6 people
3. Excellent communication skills- this person will be facilitating and interacting with the business. They will also be communicating with on and offshore teams (TCS, iGate, IBM).
- Verbal and written communication skills are very important
- When questions are asked, this person needs to answer them directly.
This person needs to be comfortable adapting to the following situations...
1. Being pulled into a project in an "architect" capacity
2. Handling production issues
3. Acting as the SME/Lead with onshore and offshore providers
4. Jumping in to figure out a problem when there is a crisis
5. Troubleshoot when the support team is limited and cannot get to it
6. Roll up their sleeves and deal with average documentation to figure things out
- Example: when a Java application has not been built, this person needs to try to understand and talk to people, network with people to figure it out. Reach out to people in the business proactively, etc.
7. Dive into code, merge code
8. Work with multiple teams and projects simultaneously
