JOB DESCRIPTION:-

Role	Location	JD
Mainframe MQSeries Admin	New York ( Locals ONLY)	Detailed Job Description Provide engineering and operational support for IBMs MQSeries middleware on z/OS. Candidate must be comfortable working with MQ in a 24x7 large scale environment (multi-queue manager, high volume, large number of applications). Support application developers in the use of MQ in batch and CICS environments. Support software maintenance, DRIP procedures/tests, problem determination and interface with IBM support. Support in-house developed tools including wrapper for the MQI, enhanced CICS trigger monitor, and channel security exits. Support performance and capacity planning including the development of performance and trending reports. Position includes interface and coordination with the distributed MQ engineering and operations teams. Qualifications MVS Utilities/JCL, TSO, IDCAMS, CICS, SMPE, IPCS System Performance monitoring tools: Omegamon, Epilog, RMF MQ monitoring tools: Sysview, Mainview, Tivoli or Nastel MQSeries: MQI(strong), System design, Security (TSS, RACF, Kerberos), Channel exits, Client attachment, Queue Sharing Groups, CICS Trigger Monitor, CA/Neumics Q&R Analyzer reporting tool Languages: Assembler (strong), C, COBOL, PERL, Unix shell, Natural(extremely helpful) Database: DB2, Adabas XML Websphere Message Broker (helpful)
