Role: WMQ Admin
Location: Lincolnshire, IL

Client: TCS
Required Skills:

•         Websphere Message Queue Administration and Configuration.
Websphere administration & configuration skills (Experience with migration from WAS 6.1 to WAS 8.5 will be a plus)
•         Experience with RDMS configuration (IBM DB2 prior experience)
•         Experience with Code Repositories particularly GIT.
•         Experience in packaging the applications in RPMs and VmWare Thinapps.
•         Experience in shell scripting. (bash)
•         Experience with OS administration and Virtualization
•         Basic understanding of networking technologies used in OS
•         Basic understanding of Java applications configuration.

Responsibilities include

- Analyze the potential impact of upgrading OS and middleware components on the running applications; provide suggestions and working solutions to remediate the impact and mitigate the risk.
