I need a senior business analyst with Healthcare related Clinical experience for a one year plus contract in South Florida. The interview is Skype and phone to hire.
Position Overview:
Large Healthcare organization is looking to fill Clinical Business Analyst contract roles within our growing healthcare organization. Clients positions will focus on a variety of key business projects supporting the business needs in areas of IT, Revenue Cycle Management, Office Based Specialties, Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, and Radiology. Client is looking for individuals with real world enterprise system implementation experience within a hospital based or healthcare organization
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads clinical and non-clinical requirements development.
Develop and/or translate business requirements into product-specific designs and configuration, detailed requirement specifications and use cases.
Deliver functional specifications, design documents, clinical process workflow and related documentation for new development projects and/or enhancement and modification requests.
Design and execute functional, integration, and regression test plans for new application functionality, product releases and enhancement and regulatory modifications using clinical scenarios and use cases.
Ensures the end-to-end solution is proven to deliver the required business results and end-user specifications.
Serve as liaison role between application technology vendors, internal IS groups, and clinical users.
Review vendor provided documentation and user manuals needed to support the product and respond to escalated support calls.
Drives adoption of the designed processes and solution use with stakeholders.
Communicates to ensure expectations are kept in line with project status.
Upon implementation of product or service, drives knowledge transfer to Support Teams.
Lead Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts and 3rd Parties as needed on projects.
Help determine level of effort and time required for solution delivery.
Generate reports requested by the project team or end-users.
Consults with functional unit management and personnel to identify, define and document current operational processes.
Ability to provide data mapping and system mapping matrices.
Ability to track work performed, work remaining, and quality testing.
In conjunction with the PMO, supervise and nurture vendor relationships to ensure success of solution and process implementations.
Apply change control processes especially in relation to requirements documentation.
Ability to identify and manage/support business implementation tasks and process changes.
Assist PMO Management and other team members with project management support, including budgeting, planning, and organization.
Responsible for significant, enterprise-wide projects, typically with large budgets and sizeable staff, focused on meeting project objectives, including communications with sponsors, and stakeholders.
Work Experience Requirements:
2 to 5 years of hands on experience implementing Clinical System solutions e.g. (Epic, Cerner, Athena, eCW, and others).
Understand Medical Terminology and workflow.
Understanding of clinical integration.
Served as a Nurse or lead Clinical Analyst for an IDN, hospital system, large practice or other healthcare organization.
Polished client facing management service expertise.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills.
Quick learner with the ability to lead project team.
Strong sense of ownership and able to work independently under limited supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including the ability to exercise good judgment in frequency and nature of communications to different parties (senior management, stakeholders, team members, vendors, etc.)
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate (written and oral) technical information to non-technical audience
Ability to review, consolidate, communicate and reverse-engineer complex technical and systems documentation
Working knowledge of risk management and quality assurance standards and methodologies
Demonstrated analytical and basic project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of howto interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements
Strong interpersonal and demonstrated facilitation skills including the ability to motivate and influence others, andable to foster and contribute to a positive, upbeat team environment
Strong customer service ethic with an understanding of how IT is ultimately delivered to the Customer
High tolerance for working in a dynamic and shifting environment and able to readily embrace and participate inchange initiatives
Ability to work well with others and complete task with minimal supervision
Effect time management and prioritization skills
Ability to travel to business locations within the United States (<25%)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or informatics or higher from an accredited college or university in business or public administration, informatics, heath care or related field.
Five years of progressive Clinical Business Analyst work experience and a proven track record in the support of healthcare information technology projects.
