Position Title : QA Lead

Locations: San Diego, CA

Duration: Long Term Contract

Skills & Experience :

• 8+ yrs of experience in Testing with 2 yrs in automated testing, 3 yr in portal & web applications.
  
• Assist in development of the testing strategy & leading a small team of testers.
  
• Developing unique, in depth, and creative test plans to manually test the various software pieces to ensure stability and accuracy of the system.
• Executing manual test cases, including building the necessary data within the various applications, and documenting the results.
• Knowledge of working with Test Automation tools Selenium.
• Developing automated test plans and cases to test incremental versions of software to ensure continued stability and accuracy of the system.
• End to end ownership of testing of defect fixes, enhancement, CR, Preparation oftest reports and tracking the progress.
• Collaborate with L1 and L2 teams, and development teams for effective issue resolution.
• Collaborate with testing, release management, and change management teams to deploy fix to production.
• Support UAT teams to test fix for defect / issue reported.
• Knowledge of Relational database, SQL & SQL Editors, Jmeter, SOAP UI.
• Good to have exposure on UI technology like HTML5/CSS3/Angular JS based appln And/Orr Knowledge of User Experience.
