PHP Developer

3-6+ month contract

Minneapolis, MN

A great new contract opportunity has opened up for a PHP Software Engineer! This is a great role for someone who can take a project from the handoff of the requirements and mockups all the way through to delivery.   The Software Engineer will build out new features, design and implement new interaction types for a custom framework. You will ensure highest quality of coding standards and of course meet and manage to multiple deadlines.

Background Required:

• Strong skills in PHP development required (4+ years)
• Working experience in fast paced environment with changing priorities
• Experience customizing and extending CMS platforms (Code Igniter, WordPress, Expression Engine, )
• Well versed in the web development process
• Ability to work independently
• Hands on working with source code repositories (SVN, Git, Subversion, BitBucket)
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity  ( staying current on new and emerging interaction techniques, new technologies, and general web trends
